2009 Best and Worst Of Life
The Worst:
What a bunch. We have 2 dookies, a murderer, 2 people responsible for the worst atrocity of 2009 -- District 9. And as usual, much of my vitriol is reserved for sportscasters...
-10:
Stuart Scott
Jay Bilas
Joe Buck
Johannes Mesherle (the Oscar Grant killer)
Troy Aikman
Neill Bloomkamp
-7:
Kyle Singler
Sharlto Copley
The Best 10 :
113 -- Chris Webber (+10) -- Gotta love a Michigan alum taking this spot down. Although now primarily making appearances only as "Corporate Chris" after being separated from GP, I still love him.
102 -- Gary Payton (+9) -- GP, GP... wherefore art thou, GP?
77 -- Bill Simmons (+8) -- Some of his act is beginning to tire for me, but he's still a consistent source of entertainment, and the has the best podcasts in the game.
73 -- Kanye West (+7) -- A strong, strong performance considering he didn't put out new music this past year. Can't wait for the new album.
65 -- Shaq (+6) -- Who knew? He's just consistently awesome.
47 -- LeBron James (+5) -- And the best is yet to come. If (when?) he wins the title this year, Jim could have a stranglehold on the title.
45 -- Barack Obama (+4) -- Damn, top 10, and he supposedly had a bad year? Watch out, 2010.
43 -- Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith(+3) -- The TNT guys just aren't the same to me, after I saw GP and C-Webb do it. It's like thinkin a Camry is the best possible car, and then upgrading to a Benz and realizing you just didn't now any better. And to be honest, they, especially Chuck, don't know what they're talking about half the time.
43 -- Jon Stewart (+1) -- Consistent greatness.
